以培养教学和应用研究型人才为目标，现有三年制硕士研究生100余人，硕士生导师25人，包括工业设计及理论研究、交互设计及理论研究、服装与服饰设计及理论研究、染织艺术设计及理论研究、设计历史与理论研究。培养方式有设计学学术型硕士（MA）、艺术设计专业型硕士（MFA）。并与英国伯明翰城市大学、英国格拉斯哥大学、日本千叶大学、香港理工大学等多所国际著名高校进行双学位合作办学，为国际化培养开拓了良好的局面。

School of Innovation Design postgraduate cultivation focus on bringing teaching and practical talents. Now we have more than 100 master degree students and 25 master tutors, include industrial design & theory research, interactive design & theory research, fashion & accessories design & theory research, textile design & theory research, design history and theory research. The cultivation includes the academic master of design (MA) and the master of art design (MFA). And also cooperated with many internationally renowned universities such as Birmingham City University, University of Glasgow, Chiba University, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University,etc, to open a good situation for international training.
